Reviewed Pan Seared Chicken Breast with Herb Jus and Potato-Vegetable Hash

Nov 27, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

Absolutely delicious, quick and easy chicken recipe. Followed the chicken recipe as written. Did not make the hash because I already had prepped veggies for rice pilaf. Sauce was tremendous over both the chicken and the pilaf. Will be happy to serve this to guests.

Delicious. I made it exactly as written. Did not need to add additional salt and pepper "to taste" as both were fine using the 1st amounts in the recipe. Did add the extra 1/2 cup of chicken broth (Ree suggestion) because I did think that once it baked it may be too dry. Excellent recipe.

I made it as written and it was divine. For those indicating the butter sauce takes too long to reduce, make it 1st and just keep it warm so it's ready when the fish is done.

Another excellent Alton recipe. Simple and delicious. We had ours at room temp. Would be great to take to a picnic/cookout/bbq.

This really is a very excellent recipe. As always, I make a recipe as written and evaluate based on the recipe, as written. The only exception was to not serve in a bread bowl. Oh sure, in the future I may add my own "tweaks" with crab, chipotle, smoked paprika, or whatever, depending, but this is VERY flavorful as presented. "

Followed the recipe except used chuck eye and did not flour it. Had to purchase the smoked paprika and it was well worth it. This recipe is divine!"

It was good but not exceptional. Probably won't make it again though I may try it with cream cheese versus marscapone.
marscapone seemed too sweet."

I made this in the AM and have been munching on it with crackers late this afternoon. I read the reviews prior to making it so opted for less lemon and no salt based on the number of reviews that indicated "too salty, too lemony". It's quite good. Every bite seems to have a little different taste since the capers and olives are just lightly inco"

Another excellent and simple recipe by Robert Irvine. I love his use of grapeseed oil with this recipe and other recipes. Grapeseed oil serves it purpose, to saute, without providing a competing flavor. Quick, easy and made with stuff I usually have on hand (especially in the summer with fresh basil and mint fron the garden). "

I made this 2 nights ago for supper and followed the recipe, as written, except excluded the serrano peppers in the salsa topping. One chipotle in adobo was ample heat for our taste. The recipe is excellent and makes wonderful meatloaf sandwiches the next day."

My husband made this the other evening and it is absolutely delicious. We both loved it. He made it and served it, per Robert's recipe with no alterations. We did not have grapeseed oil so purchased some for this recipe and have determined we like grapeseed oil and will use it for other recipes. Also if you do not have white balsamic...find it, "
