Love to cook!! Love french cuisine, middle eastern cuisine and southern cuisine. Have cookbooks in my kitchen and dining room. If I had just ten dollars, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a cooking magazine. Love to share recipes with people who have a passion for food too. I am retired,mother of 5 grown children and 2 daughter-in-laws and 2 grandchildren. Favorite cookbook is Farm Journal Country Cookbook and Tylers Ultimate Cookbook. Pet peeve is people who order take out all the time rather than try to learn to cook.
Favorite Foodsgood french onion soup, zucchini gratin, anything with potatoes, fresh baked breads, anything lemon, lobster salad, homemade potato salad, kibbee (middle eastern meat dish)lamb, mushrooms and fish. My favorite resturant is a local place called Natali's North, they make a terrific entree with fish that is covered in a blue cheese sauce, delicious!
