Reviewed Cream of Asparagus Soup

“Really tasty but how do you get rid of the fibrous stuff. I tried a fine mesh strainer, and it just left juice, I pureed the heck out of it in the blender, still there. I don't know, maybe chopping the asparagus into 1/2 size pieces, but thats sort of a pain. Advise, help? Please. The soup was delish otherwise.
