This was good, but I added 1/2 tsp. of black pepper with the salt. Try that if you are one that thinks it is a little bland. You can also make it with 2 Tbs. olive oil in place of the butter, which will give better left overs.

they are still not printable in a user friendly format; sometimes you get print over print, but always get the www. site associated with the "red" words; MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO USE AND READ RECIPES. FOODNETWORK NEEDS TO FIX. PRINT IS WASTEFUL AND NOT USER FRIENDLY. TRASHY.

Replied to drip beef sandwiches

AS STATED ABOVE; THE LARGE RED PRINT RECIPE BUTTON DOES NOT PRODUCE A USER FRIENDLY PRINT. One version has print over print on the "preview" and the actual print, when not print over print, prints out every www. website associated with the words in red in the original recipe. FOODNETWORK NEEDS TO FIX THIS. OTHER COMMENTS ARE CORRECT. STOP BEING CONDESCENDING...

I just watched this recipe on TV and chef Lucas'; recipe does not in any way resemble this recipe. He starts by melting Lard, then sauteeing dried guajillo chili peppers, onions, tomato paste, cumin and garlic, and then dry chicken base/bouillon.After the onions have softened, He adds the contents of the skillet to a pot and adds water. Mar 2, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is not the cake she made, since it is without the "secret" icing; that is what makes it different from all the other recipes on this site. VERY disappointed that the whole recipe was not posted. Most people do not live near her bakery, so what is the big deal?? It's not like it would take business from her. Very selfish, in my opinion. If you...

I have made this MANY times now, and this recipe is a definite keeper. You can add leftover meat too, if you like! I usually use bagged coleslaw veggies and spaghetti. You can change up the vegetables, such as using bok choy, etc. Just as good, if not better than any take out, and very simple to make at home! Thanks Sandra!"

This was a great method for crispy oven potatoes! After i boiled the potatoes, i split them all lengthwise, and seasoned with oil, s&p, smoked paprika, onion powder and tumeric. Preheated pan in hot oven, and then added the potatoes, cut sides down and roasted per directions. They were delicious, as i am sure they are with the seasoning she recomm"
