OK, it was very tasty, but for the directions, we screwed up. We fried the zucchini which I think would have been better thinner. Then we used that same oil for the garlic & scallions & vinegar.
But were we supposed to scoop them out, or use all that oil in the final dish. That's what we did, use all that oil. It was way too heavy,I know...

Made this today and it was so good! I had a small 2 1/4 lb rump roast and the recipe was perfect. Everyone especially liked the gravy which I made with rice flour as the only substitution. Good work Melissa! I served it with creamed spinach & pureed celery root.

Reviewed Pumpkin Pie

I made this recipe this year for Thanksgiving and it was great. I use gluten free frozen pie crusts and we added the rum. I also increase the spices a bit to taste and we really enjoyed the pies. I was looking for a recipe for fresh pumpkin,glad we found this one!
