Reviewed Baby Back Racks

"Followed recipe except instead of grilling on the outdoor BBQ (too cold out I did it on my stove top on my BBQ grill pan.
They looked a little dry because I forgot to baste them until 1/2 through, so I popped them back in the oven on broil for another 10min in the original pan w.all the sauce to moiseten them up. Turned out crunchy and moist~

ps-
I didn't read the reviews until 1/2 through the oven cooking but I heeded the advice regarding the sugar.... I popped the pan out of the oven and added more brrown sugar during that first hour.

Delicious.... I look forward to the spring when I can put this on the outdoor BBQ.

Reviewed Old-Fashioned Meat Loaf- A.K.A 'Basic' Meat Loaf

"Very good recipe- trying to find one that both my husband and I LOVE. This comes close. He wasn't thrilled about the sauce on the top- but I thought it was the highlight.

I didn't have bell pepper in the house, so I ommitted it, but I added a finely chopped mushroom which I thought was a nice flavor .

I reduced the onion by almost a 1/2... and still found it repeating on me for a couple hours after dinner.

I didn't have the right sized can of tomatoes so I used tomato paste in a tube and added some water to the mixture... seemed to work fine.

Next time I would use all beef instead of the beef/pork/veal combo pack I had on hand.

Overall a good recipe and it has flexibility

Reviewed Penne with Shrimp and Herbed Cream Sauce

"Excellent!!! Didn't want my bowl to end!!!
I made a few slight changes because I didn't want to go out shopping:
I used frozen shrimp instead of fresh, romano cheese instead of Parmesean and frozen (previously fresh) basil and parsley.
Otherwise I did the recipe according to directions.
Ohh.. I used Wondra to thicken the sauce and it worked like a CHARM!!

Will defintely make this again, ideally with all fresh versus some frozen items
