Very easy main dish. I cut the recipe down in half as there is only 2 of us and there was plenty. My store did not have the pecorino cheese but the deli manager said that asiago would work just fine and that is what I used. I probably would just use a pinch of the red pepper flakes next time. Otherwise, I will make it again. "

I have made this recipe many, many times and everyone loves it. What I have done is to substitute honey for the sugar and used almond milk instead of regular milk. Both give the slaw a sweeter taste. I also put in small pieces of pineapple."

The pie turned out wonderful. I agree with another review that the prep took an easy 30 minutes. I was also nervous with the fennel and just used 1 small head.
