These were easy to make and looked as good as they tasted. I increased the cinnamon to 1/2 teaspoon for a more pronounced flavor. The flakiness of the pastry, the caramelized sugar, and the cinnamon made an impressive tasting cookie. "

Slowly browning the onions to a caramelized state is the answer to why this is the best onion dip I've ever eaten. The saltiness of potato chips are the perfect accompaniment. It was a huge success at a Super Bowl party."
