About Me

I am a retired manager or private country clubs and yacht clubs. During my career I was able to work with and learn from some truly great chefs.
My wife is still working full time and I am the cook "chef". My wife refers to me as " Her Personal Chef".
I really appreciate the fact that most of your recipes come with "recipe reviews" . These are always helpful, and sometimes you can avoid common problems or enhance an already good formula. Some chefs have more of " A sense of adventure" than others.

Favorite Foods

NEVER had a pie I did not like.
( there is a little known LAW in NY State: "To eat a pie made with fresh fruit and not add a generous scoop of ice cream is a crime")

We enjoy a variety of fresh fish --once or twice a week. We are very lucky to have a market close that carries fresh fish.

Chicken is our main meat of choice.

Once every two weeks or so you really NEED a big thick juicy Cheeseburger. ( gas grill with wood chips or charcoal.)
