this is a wonderful chicken soup recipe. my husband, who is not a chicken fan, had 2 bowls of this. that in itself is high praise. i did add chicken demi-glace when i added the noodles, i used linguini instead of vermicelli, and it was wonderful. thank you emeril for this wonderful recipe.

made this for dinner last night. very good. the one thing that i would do for this is increase the red wine and broth/stock for more gravy. and i also would not add salt to the mushrooms. i did and it was just a little to salty for my taste. i would add the salt after the broth/stock and wine to the mushrooms. otherwise this was an excellent"
