I used the only green beans I could find in the grocery store...they were not very fresh.
And when the 6 hours were up, they were delicious! I used 3 strips of bacon. I do think that is enough. I left out the garlic as I wanted to have a bean taste and not have it covered up by garlic."

My husband is severely allergic to garlic, so I had to leave out the garlic...but it was so delicious
without it. Maybe it was better without it..Lets the other flavors come through. I used ground dark chicken which is I think is more flavorful. Lots of taste!""
