I am a transplanted New Englander (CT) to this wonderful place I call "Merryland." I used to have my own catering business before medical issues put me on the sidelines.
I love to cook, travel, stay at B&B's, read, stay on Oak Island, NC, listen to music, scrapbooking and enjoy my husband and our 21 year old daughter who is away at college in NC.
I am infamous for my homemade manicotti that I make using crepes, rather than those horrible premade pasta rolls that you try to stuff the cheese mixture into. I also make Mamma g's chocolate chip cookies that I am infamous for with my daughter's sorority sisters.
My favorite cook book is Jim Fobel's Old Fashioned Baking Book. I highly recommend it to anyone. There is not one single recipe that I have made from that book that has not been out of this world!
Favorite Foods
My favorite foods are manicotti, artichoke and spinach dip, anything chocolate (!), veggie stir frys, and any chicken dish since we do not eat beef, pork or seafood due to medical issues.Advertisement
