"It was a cool, sunny Sunday afternoon yesterday. My husband was watching football on TV and my daughter and I were a little bored and decided to bake something as a surprise for her dad. I had a can of pumpkin in my pantry so we thought of whipping up some pumpkin bars. He is a huge fan since the first time trying them from an Amish stand in Pennsylvania. We chose this recipe and we all agreed these were just as yummy. Maybe even better! Very moist and nice flavor and consistency in the cream cheese icing. Will definitely be making these again.
