Reviewed Homemade Soft Pretzels
"This recipe is exactly what I was looking for. Well, almost. I made 2 changes. I used non diastatic malt in place of the sugar. I fell like both texture and taste were enhanced. I also used a lye bath in place of baking soda bath and egg wash. What a difference. Terrific!

Reviewed Beef and Bulgur-Stuffed Zucchini
"Really delicious recipe. Made with ground bison, and raisins in place of currants. My whole famiy enjoyed it! Cooked extra bulgur and made a salad with the bulgur, sauteed zucchini (removed from centers), tomatoes, chopped onions, a little garlic, feta cheese, parsley, and red wine vinaigrette. Bonus!"
Reviewed White Chili
"Love this chili, find myself craving it. I did make a couple changes. I substituted one poblano with a red bell pepper for color and added a hot pepper (jalapeno-like) from a neighbor's garden. I also added some smoked paprika (~ 1/2 tsp.) for added flavor. Did find the chili a little thin, so I pureed a third can of beans and added it. This thickened the chili nicely. I am now wondering about adding some tomatillos, think I'll give that a try next time.
