About Me

Hello! I am Ceres. I am 33 and I live in Columbus, Ohio with my adorable husband of 14 years. I am currently taking a sabbatical before heading back to school full time and am enjoying most of my free time in the kitchen. I am not a chef. I do not own a trendy caf? or live on a farm. My gardening attempts are amateur at best, and my knife skills are downright scary.

I began cooking and baking with my grandmother when I was 3 years old, and it has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy long days leisurely spent wandering through local produce markets, farm stands, and pick your own farms. I almost always leave the house with a large empty basket and my camera to capture the sights, colors, fragrances, and flavors of the season. It makes me happy to indulge in life?s simple pleasures, so I am a huge fan of quick and easy techniques that make ?Living the Good Life,? simple and easily attainable.
