Like the other postings, I added oatmeal plus nuts to the recipe to make a crisp. I only used coconut palm sugar. I also didn't peel the peaches. It came out great--not too sweet."

Today, I modifed this recipe by replacing the brown sugar with agave syrup. I sometimes replace the cranberries with dried cherries. I also replace the almonds with walnuts and sesame seeds. I break up the bars into small chunks and eat with Greek yogurt. A very filling and satisfying breakfast. ""

It was a stressful day at work, and I'm treating myself to this wonderful dish. I used 8 ribs and a leftover bottle of red wine. I plan to refrigerate overnight, reheat, and serve over homemade polenta. Why pay big $$ for this dish at a fancy restaurant when you can make it yourself?"
