Not being a snob, but sometimes we need a reminder of "easy works well." Im keeping a supply of the finished logs wrapped and in freezer and fridge for drop in guests, or my family when dinner is delayed.

I clicked Post too soon. Found this recipes and needed "appetizers" tonight. I did four batches: one with blue cheese, one feta, one Parmesan, and one Monterey Jack. With some glasses of wine it's finished. My kids smelled them cooking and couldn't resist! Guess I'll do another batch or two... Maybe sharp cheddar this time.

I adore Giada but there's way too much lemon juice in this dish for my family. I'd suggest you only use 1 lemon or if you use 2 lemons for juice, then skip the zest. My partner ate it but the kids refused; they'll usually eat pasta no matter what it has on it.

I stuck with directions first time and they were great!! Second time I used expresso for even stronger mocha flavor. My kids who usually complain of not enough icing, with this recipe, had enough icing to satisfy! Loved them.

Sooo glad this was on today ... I've got a neighborhood potluck on the fourth, and I'm going to do the peach crisp! Also going to do the sauce since it was described as so yummy. If I run out of time to do homemade ice cream I'll have this delectable sauce. If I get the ice cream made, I'll probably sauce the sauce for family to enjoy.

Delicious! I didn't have the tiny cast iron skillets so I made them in several large skillets making 3-4 in each skillet. I think they would have worked on cookie sheets too. Interesting blend of flavors.

Punkinspooky - PRINT and SAVE buttons only appear if you are using a PC and Internet Explorer. If you are using a MAC, or Safari, or iPhone, or iPad, there is NO PRINT BUTTON!! Guess they didn't bother to test it on all systems and all iOS operating systems.

Our school uses Macs and iPads and culinary students are completely frustrated...

To get the recipe, you have to type in Smoked Salmon Frittatas into the FN search engine at top, then you'll find Giada's. I'm convinced FN does not read what's written here. Urge people to call FN or Scripps Network and register complaints about whatever incompetent company redesigned the website. It is a colossal FAIL and needs to be "chopped!!!"...
