Reviewed Sour Cream Butter Biscuits

Nov 7, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

dunklinp@browns... don't know what went wrong with your recipe. Just make sure self-rising flour was used and not expired, use real butter, and regular sour cream, no substitutes. Also make sure your oven temp is registering correctly. These are awesome biscuits!""

Godsdiva, anytime you see biscuit mix as an ingredient in a recipe, you need to buy a box of Bisquick or other brand of biscuit mix to use. Meowmarral, what Paula meant was you can get the recipe for these biscuits on this site, not the biscuit mix itself (Bisquick). Hope this helps ya'll. Absolutely awesome biscuits!"

Absolutely awesome! However, if you watched this show, you can plainly see that Velveeta cheese IS being used. If you've ever used Velveeta, then you know how soft it is when you slice it & how it sticks to the knife. Either way, cheddar or Velveeta is great in this recipe.

Try adding 2 Tbsp. of chili powder for more flavor. It's much better with this.
