I read a few reviews before I made the cake to get some tips and read the complaints. The cake is delicious. The best part is the frosting, this is what makes the cake special. To make it easier on myself, I bought a pre-made brittle. This cuts the cooking time. You can get whatever brittle you want and just smash it to pieces and add to the frost"

My husband made this for us on Memorial weekend! Awesome! Awesome! It was so tasty, we actually served it with a nitrite-free Italian sausage and sourdough bread. It was wonderful! I didn't care much for the potatoes so we're making it with no potatoes this time. Thanks Giada for all your great recipes!"

This was so good, I use the same recipe now for chicken sticks. The fish sticks were so good I made a lot. I reheated leftovers in the toaster oven the next day and it was still very good."
