Reviewed Lime Spiked Black Bean Dip

Aug 8, 2014 in null on Food.com

This was a lovely find! It really isn';t that pretty so I processed the carrots along with the beans. Added 1/2 cup red enchilada sauce and juiced only one lime. Ended up with a southwestern hummus that quickly disappeared!"

Reviewed Angel Food Cake--Deluxe

Apr 13, 2013 in null on Food.com

This is the best angel food cake ever! The texture is unbelievably soft and creamy. My first thought was to go with the strawberry sauce. Then I saw the bananas on the counter that had to be eaten TODAY. So I sliced them up, cubed the cake, and layered them with caramel sauce and whipped cream. It was roll-your-eyes-and-grin-foolishly delicious."

I had some carrots too old to be used in a salad and found butternut squash I forgot I had tossed into the freezer. Time for soup! I was intrigued by the Chinese 5 spice used in this recipe so decided to try it. This is delicious!!! My family nearly licked the pot clean. I have added it to the family cookbook. Thank you so much. (I used 3 cups ch...

Reviewed Moroccan Lamb Tagine with Honey and Apricots

Feb 13, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is delicious! However, I didn't have the time to invest and decided to throw everything in the crockpot with a few changes. I only used one cup total onions, substituted 1/4 cup low sugar apricot preserves for the dried apricots, and omitted raisins (not a fan) and the honey. Four hours on high later, I was dancing in the kitchen when I samp...
