"First time baking from scratch. Baked cake for my husband birthday. It's his favorite cake. Cake tasted GREAT but wasn't the greatest looking cake out there haha. I used 1 tbs of red coloring, still color was good. On the frosting, I used 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar only because I ran out and it tasted sooo good. I think with 2 cups of sugar it would be too sweet. The edges of the caked were crispy but I think it may be my oven. It also rose a bit much but that could be because I whipped the caked mix till quite thick. Cake came out moist and sooo tasteful. We shared the cake with my immediate family and they loved it especially the frosting. I will definitely bake this again.

"Punch was easy to make. Used vodka and triple sec as suggested by another viewer and it turned out great. My sister who doesn't drink much loved it! Made half of it at first. Because it was a hit, had to make to the rest.

"I loved them. These were a hit at our halloween family gathering. Its true the directions are incomplete but I saw the show. For the recipe you just need to do half of everything in order have extra for the dipped legs. Otherwise everthing came out perfect and delish!
