Reviewed Horseradish-crusted Chinook Salmon with Braised Greens and Roasted New Potatoes
"I made only the salmon portion of this recipe. It was super easy and tasted great. My husband is not a salmon type of guy, and even he liked it. I did not bother with Chinook salmon; I just got regular salmon filets from ACME and they were fine. Will be making again.
Reviewed Roasted Chicken with Balsamic Vinaigrette
"I did not find this recipe to be anything special. Although I marinated the chicken for 3+ hours, I did not taste the balsamic flavor. It tasted like plain old roasted chicken. I will definitely be looking for a tastier chicken recipe.
Reviewed Shrimp and Pasta in a Tomato-Chile Cream Sauce
"This dish was really delicious. The only thing I would change next time when making it, is to remove the seeds from the jalepeno, or at least remove some of them. The recipe didn't instruct to remove them, and I didn't feel like taking the time, so I just chopped up the pepper and seeds together. I enjoy spicy food, but this was SUPER spicy. If I had removed even half of the seeds, I think it would have been perfect! The sauce is so good. Definitely not diet friendly, but delicious none the less. I will definitely make it again, possibly with some less calorie laden ingredients.

Reviewed Asian Lettuce Wraps
"Yummy, healthy, easy dinner. I used ground chicken for a more healthy alternative to beef. It was easy and quick to make. I also added zucchini and fresh bean sprouts, which gave it some nice crunch. I plan on keeping this recipe for future use. Next time I would add even more veggies, like carrots. I used Boston lettuce, and it worked perfectly. I made rice for a side, but ended up not even needing it because these were filling enough for me.
Reviewed Salmon Cakes with Creamy Ginger-Sesame Sauce
"It was pretty tasty, but I certainly wouldn't rave about it. It was easy to prepare - while forming the patties they were very moist and did not have much difficulty staying in patty shape. The bread crumbs were not too overpowering, I could still taste salmon. Also, the water chestnuts gave it a nice crunch. The reviews of the sauce were not great, so I made a yogurt sauce instead. I felt the cooked patty was slightly dry, so I ended up using a LOT of sauce on mine. My husband has a big appetite so he ate his patties on a hamburger bun with sauce. Went nicely with a side salad. I may make it again in the future, but I'm not in a any rush.
