Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Carlos La Cruz completed his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with Honors, at the Arizona State University in 1996 and his culinary degree in Las Vegas in 1998 , Carlos commenced his professional career in the city of New York as Restaurant manager in the most prestigious Restaurants in the city as Virgil BBQ in Times Squa...re , Time Square Café, Gigino's at Wartner Park, Dos Caminos Mexican restaurant Park Avenue and Soho , Regent Hotel at Wall Street, Megu NYC at Tribeca , The Sport Club LA as a F & B Director , Manager in the most Glamorous club in New York Duvet restaurant and Night Club, and at F & T Group / QC Celebrity palace as General manager creating 7 Restaurants in the queens crossing building : Mulan Modern Asian cuisine, Mudan Banquet Hall, TMSK lounge, Ah rhee soo Japanese and Korean restaurant, Rose House The Tea House, Bally BBQ & Beer and Paris Baguette café. Working with The President Of the Asian American Association and Executive Chef Peter How. Where he undertook his Professional Year and subsequently gained the status of Excellence in management. Carlos possesses over 24 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry in The City Of New York.

HONORIFIC MENTION BY THE CHEF ASSOCITATION OF VENEZUELA ON SEP 19-2010 IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK
His Book "Bitacora Gastronomica de Venezuela" , Executive Chef of the Caracas Pop Festival where carlos created the daily menus for celebrities, like Paulina Rubio, Juan Luis Guerra, El Grupo No dout , Alice Morrison, El famous group Pink flow, Ruben Blades, and local artist as well for 250,000 people in the stadium.


In this book he recovered over 300 traditional Venezuelan recipes, As a manager Carlos share professional experiences with Celebrity chefs as David Coleman, Nelson Martinez, Luigi's gigino , Jean George , Peter How, Morimoto and many more. Carlos lives in New York at Rego Park Queens.
 Carlos most recently project Project was Chimney BBQ and Milk Lounge the First Upscale Restaurant in the East Harlem as a General Manager Consultant. Carlos  is now creating ORI NO CO in Washington height project that will done with Mr Carlos Ruiz in the Ambar room or the old TBA lounge , and it will be the first upscale Venezuelan and Caribbean restaurant in New York Carlos contribute to the Hospitality industry in the city of New York is invaluable and Recognized for the Industry in USA, Europe and Asia.
