My Activity

Reviewed Chicken Parmigiana

"Great recipe but I did a few things different based on the reviews. I only needed 2 eggs and I eye balled the flour and panko. I figured I could always add more. I ended up using a 1/3 of what the recipe calls for. If your meat doesn't cook in the allotted time you need to beat it flatter, or fry it longer. Overall I loved the recipe and will be making it again and again. "

Reviewed Tomato-Basil Bread Pudding

"I really like this! I don't think I changed anything and it was easy to make. We ended up eating it for a few days. Even my very picky husband who does not like "pudding" type things liked it. I just entered everything into myfooddiary . com and found that it's a little high in salt and in cholesterol. (from the eggs) so maybe I'll use egg whites next time.

Reviewed Pasta Ponza

"It seemed like such a great idea!!! Turns out, it's bland and boring. My guests only ate the one plate to be nice to me. Not sure what you can do to fix it but no one was impressed.

Reviewed 30-Minute Turkey Chili

"This recipe is so wrong it's crazy! It is not 10 minutes of work, it's the full 30. I would start with half the salt but all salts affect food differently. I ended up using a full tablespoon of Himalayan salt. I also sauteed a chopped green bell pepper, added a can of corn, black beans and chili beans. Instead of that chipotle thing I just added a teaspoon of chipotle powder. For beer I used Dos Equis. The changes made this very good. This was my second time making it since the actual recipe sucks. Basically had to throw it away.
