Reviewed Ultimate Shrimp and Grits
"I made this last weekend, and like most of the posts I read, I used the grits already in my pantry adding butter and cream. I really liked the recipe, but I would caution you on the purchase of andouille sausage. I purchased some that were NOT very spicy and had a very low fat content which I think detracted from the flavors. I will definitely try"
Reviewed Shrimp Scampi with Linguini
"I've never done home-made Shrimp Scampi. I looked at several recipes before deciding to do this one. It's really simple and easy, and it tastes really good. I will definitely do this one again."
Reviewed Sweet Potato Fries
"I loved everything about this recipe: crispy and the seasonings were perfect as stated in the recipe. Next time I will try the frozen, as another commenter suggested, just for comparison.""
Reviewed Smothered Pork Chops
"You can't go wrong with this recipe. Took off a star only because my husband and son think it would have to be "spectacular" to get 5 stars. I loved it because it's so easy to make. I agree with the rest, I'll definitely keep this one.""
Reviewed Braised Short Ribs
"I'm sorry, but maybe there are people that like a lot of tomatos and those that do not. My family and I are the latter. I followed the recipe exactly but we just didn't like it. ""
Reviewed Easy Braised Artichokes
"So, I've never eaten artichoke except in a dip..but this was not good to me. I agree with the other comment about it being tough and having to throw most of it away. If you like lemons, then this might work.""
Reviewed Buffalo Wings
"Best wings! I did last week and will ALWAYS use this recipe. I love Alton!""
Reviewed Kale-llaloo
"Cooked this recipe for dinner and it was really, really good. Definitely for someone that likes leafy greans, like collards. My husband said he preferred this over collards. I added portebello mushrooms from Rachel Rays' recipe. It added more texture and tasted great!""
About Me
I a wife and the mother of 2 sons. I never really enjoyed cooking, but I've been told I'm good at it, primarily souther cuisine. I began to really dislike cooking when my youngest son became so picky with his eating habits that I find myself eating a basic, fast food diet.
