Reviewed Sugar-Cranberry Pie

"One word - Delicious! This pie will be my main dessert for the upcoming holidays. The combination of cranberries and pears compliment each other. The whole cloves, lemon juice, and orange zest brought out the distinctive flavors of each ingredient. In preparing the pie filling I used Turbinado sugar instead of white sugar. I added an extra one-fourth cup of Turbinado sugar to the cranberry mixture. I substituted one tablespoon agave nectar for the corn syrup. This pie is best enjoyed late in the evening while sitting by the fireplace, listening to soft Christmas music, and sipping on a cup of hot java with your loved ones. Enjoy!
