This had a nice flavor and even though I love English toffee, I found these to be much too sweet. I can't imagine how anyone can find these addictive. We are chocoholics in my home and everyone is in love with toffee but can't get past eating one piece of this due to all the sugar.

This is not like any caramel sauce that I have had. I didn't have half and half but I had light cream so I used that, also used dark brown sugar and followed with the rest of the ingredients & directions as written. Absolutely too much vanilla. In addition, I could tell when I was watching the show that the sauce was way too thick and there wasn't enough of it so I made my own sauce and added some her in"

Reviewed Ty's Thai Salad

Apr 11, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I love the ingredients of this salad but will not use the dressing due to all the sugar and oil. I make my own dressings all of the time and often make a lime dressing using the following:
3- 4 tablespoons EVOO, juice of one lime, two cloves garlic grated into the dressing, 2 tablespoons good quality pure maple syrup (more or less according...
