"I made the whole caramel thing easier by just boiling a can of sweetened condensed milk for 3 hours. It was just enough to cover the brownies. I boiled mine the day before and kept it in the fridge until I was ready to make the brownies next day. Loved these brownies! I also used cashews instead of pecans, since that is what I had on hand.
