This is the best pound cake I have ever made. I now have made this pound cake about 5-6 times to use a shortcake for strawberries and whipped cream. I use 2 3/4C sugar because 3 C is a little too sweet for us. I also use 2 teas. vanilla. Everyone I have served this to raves about it. It is now in my recipe box for future use.""
