I have looked for a go-to pancake recipe for a long time. With two slight modifications, this is it!

I lowered the baking powder to 1T and reduced the sugar to 1 1/2 T.

I did warm my milk so as not make the butter clump, but other than that, followed the directions as written.

Tasty. My kids don't generally care for the texture of oatmeal in muffins, so I pulsed the oatmeal in my Blendtec a few times before adding it. I subbed the cup of milk for plain yogurt simply because I had some I needed to use up. I did end up adding about a 1/4 cup milk also. In the end the texture was very good. We all enjoyed them."

Yummy! Made exactly as directed (well 1 lb shrimp, no scallops, and maybe two extra cloves of garlic) and this is heavenly. I served over angel hair pasta with crusty bread. The bread is a must for soaking up the delicious broth. I could eat that broth like soup. It is incredible."

Five stars without a doubt! Best pie I have ever made. I doubled the cinnamon and added a tiny bit extra fresh squeezed lemon juice rather than let it go to waste. I used Stayman apples which are pretty tart, so we found the sweetness to be exactly right.
