Reviewed Carrabba's Sausage and Lentil Soup

"The soup from Carrabbas has bacon so I added a pound of smoked bacon. I also added 1/4 tsp of fennel seeds and a bay leaf. I omitted extra salt and red pepper flakes because I used hot sausage and 1.5 cartons of chicken broth with salt and figured everyone could adjust theirs to taste. Everyone loved it! Also, I threw everything into the crockpot ..."

Reviewed Cumin Grilled Chicken Breasts

"I cut the chicken breasts down the middle (like butterflying), and ground kosher salt, black peppercorns and cumin seeds in my spice grinder. I also added 3 cloves of fresh crushed garlic and rubbed the spice mixture and olive oil onto the chicken and then let it marinate overnight in the fridge. I grilled this on the George Foreman. Wow, what a kick of flavor! Served with curried quinoa and grilled zucchini.
