Reviewed Beatty's Chocolate Cake

"I made this cake today and it turned our great! I didnt have round pans, so I just used my glass rectangle baking dish. I have no idea if glass is different, but it worked.
The cake is delicious without frosting, but I made the frosting anyway. My 3yr old helped me make it and he loved it! I am not baker....this was my first time ever making a cake from scratch....and I was shocked at how good it was!
I am not familiar with how a cake should look, but after reading reviews I realized my cake fell! haha I did notice the middle was lower then the edges, but it tasted fine. Oh, and I only put 1/2 the coffee in batter and none in frosting. Again, my 3yr old doesn't was helping and he doesn't need coffee.
Beware, the frosting is very chocolatey! I prefer a lighter/fluffier frosting, but this was still good.
If I can make this cake, anyone can!"

Reviewed Pan Fried Meatloaf in Tricolor Peppers

"Great dinner, except for the tomatoes on top. They just didn't taste very good...but then again, they were just poured on straight from the can. I will make this again b/c i think the peppers were great. I just need to put a tastier tomato sauce on top. :-)

Reviewed Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup

"I make this all the time! It is delish! I do add heavy cream and basil to it, as I am a big fan of creamy tomato basil soup. My husband loves the spice it has from the red pepper flakes. I also double the recipe and stash some in the freezer for later. Awesome meal for a cold wet day!

Reviewed Potato Salad

"so good! i've never made potato salad before and this was delicious. the only thing i added was dill relish. when my husband asked for potato salad to go with the burgers i was making, i said i'd look up a recipe online. i didn't want anything too fancy or with too many ingredients...and this was easy and tasty.
