How much milk did you use? It only calls for a half cup. I used a whole stick of butter and mine was still nice a thick and so tasty.

Took this to Thanksgiving dinner and it was such a big hit I was told I have to make again for Christmas dinner. The first time I made it I was shocked that I already had all the ingredients except for the pasta. Plus was my first time making real Mac and Cheese, I usually make mine from a box with powdered cheese. Was so easy and turned out great"

Oh so good. Only way I'll ever make smashed potatoes. Went perfect with the salisbury steak and gravy. My potatoes were very stringy and only used amount in recipe. Best ever!"
