"This is the 5th year I am using Alton's recipe. I love it, and everyone who devours these cookies loves it. It's such an easy recipe to prepare. I do add about a teaspoon of cinnamon and about a tablespoon of lemon to enhance the flavor of the cookie so I use less icing. Use this dough, and Alton's Royal Icing recipe to create a major hit!
