About Me
Hi my name is Barbie after 43 years of marriage and 3 grown up daughters, 4 gorgeous grandchildren I am so sick of cooking and trying to find something different to make and as I am trying to lose weight have turned to the internet for some interesting recipes to try.
I helped look after my invalid mum for 5 years sadly she passed away 6 years ago three weeks after my mother in law who had dementure on the 4th March 2013 my mother in law would have turned 100 and on the 10th March 2013 my mum would have turned 90 I miss them both terribly, my mum was an awesome cook not flash and fancy but good home cooked meals and cakes and slices and whenever anyone arrived at her house she would always find a meal for them she supplied the neighbours and my sisters work colleagues with wonderful slces every wedneday as tuesday was her cooking day
