Reviewed Apple Pie as It Should Be

"I followed other reviewers' suggestions and made my pie with Honeycrisp apples. When I brought the pie to my boyfriend's grandfather's birthday (a man with, literally, everything he could want), he ate a slice quietly, seeming to enjoy it. As people are packing up the leftovers, he made a simple statement: "The pie stays." I took it as high praise :)

Seriously, a fantastic pie."

Reviewed Chocolate Eclairs

"I have been making this recipes since I was 13. Great, easy instructions (per Gale Gand usual) and an amazing outcome every time. I usually pipe many more smaller eclairs, so I have a shorter bake time---I always watch them in the oven like a hawk. They burned once and were completely unusable. Reviewed Blueberry Clafouti

"A perfect custard-y dish that can be thrown together in an hour. Surprisingly substantial. I use a combo of raspberries and blueberries. Especially great because it's delicious at room temperature, so it's easy to bring to any event, any time of the day! Thanks, Dave Lieberman, for great, easy recipes."

About Me

I adore baking. I learned from Gale Gand every afternoon after shool during junior high, baking to my family's delight.  I still miss 'Sweet Dreams,' but Gale's recipes remain a go-to for me as I bake for friends, family, and co-workers.
