I couldn't get the nuts to go on the cooky sheet in a single layer because the glazing was pretty thick after coating the nuts, so I stirred them a bit after they'd heated up in the oven. Great drink. I found the syrup a bit too sweet so next time I will likely cut the sugar by 1/2 and possibly add more lime juice to the drink. I didn't strain the lime zest out of the syrup. I used frozen dark (sweet) cherries."

Very easy, pretty and tasty. However, I did think the simple syrup was too sweet. Next time (and there will be a next time!!)
