Reviewed Foolproof Standing Rib Roast

"I have been known to make good food and my husband has worked as the head cook at a place where the meat is their main thing, and I have to say...even he was impressed, as well as all my guests at our Christmas party. My roast was a New York about 13 lbs, a bit cheaper, so I added a bit more time (sorry, don't remember how much), but I don't think it could have been any better. Make sure whatever you get it has a good amount of fat on the back strap. This will give wonderful flavor, then later you can trim it off if you don't want to eat it. Definately will keep this recipe on my "special" stack.
