Reviewed Ultimate Ginger Cookie
"I think these cookies are great for someone who REALLY likes ginger, or spicy cookies. I liked them well enough, but they really pack a punch of spice, especially with the crystallized ginger. So, good cookies, but not to my taste.
Reviewed Multigrain Muffin
"This is a great basic, healthy muffin recipe that is easy to alter to suit what you'd like. I didn't have a lot to work with the first time I made them. I just used all white flour, cause we have no wheat. I also substituted oatmeal for the bran, and skim milk for the buttermilk. Plus, I added 1/2c of apple butter (though I would have liked to use applesauce, but it's all we had), 1tsp cinnamon, 1/2tsp nutmeg, and 1tsp vanilla. I made the mistake of putting an extra 1/4c flour in, because I thought the batter seemed too thin, and they came out just a bit dry, but other than that, they were delicious. I'm looking forward to experimenting with some fruit and nut combinations next time. I definitely plan on making more. :)
