"This was fabulous! I haven't had much luck with the few meringues I've tried in the past, but having tried this, I think it's because none of the recipes specified that the sugar be added slowly, which makes all the difference in the texture--my previous attempts came out very flat. I didn't have any passionfruit available, but I did have clementines on hand, so I juiced two of those and folded the juice into the whipped cream instead, and it was wonderful! I can't wait to make this again.

Reviewed The Oatiest Oatmeal Cookies Ever

"I weighed everything--I always do!--and my dough even looked like the dough on the show. Prepared by some of the reviews here, I made my cookies slightly smaller and placed them farther apart on the cookie sheet....and they still spread far too much and ran together. I think I'm going back to my regular oatmeal recipe, which includes wheat flour, because now I'm convinced that the gluten is there with good reason.

I will, however, continue to soak my raisins in rum!
