Reviewed meatloaf

I have made many types of meatloaves, but this is by far the best I've made. I followed the recipe to the "T" and it came out moist and flavorful. The bacon and the sauce is what really made this meatloaf really good. I saved the extra sauce for dipping.

It was just OK. I think it was way too much meat I couldn't taste the yummy goodness inside the burger. The meat itself had no flavor either. I think next time I would use 1 lb of meat, mix the chorizo into the hamburger meat (to give it more flavor), and put the bacon and onion miture in the middle. "

BEWARE I BURNED MY HAND!!!!! When it was time to take the steak out of the oven I had an oven mitt on and STILL burned my hand badly. Make sure you wrap your handle really carefully with lots of towels plus use a mitt. I don't know if I have a cheap oven mitt or what, but just a warning.

In my opinion this was a really bad dish! I usually love all of RR recipes but this just didn't do it for me. It was almost too gingery for me and I adore ginger, the sauce was watery, and I really couldn't taste the mushrooms.

This looked delicious when Ina made it, but for me it wasn't very good. I thought it was too sweet, and I usually like cinnamon in savory dishes. Also, I don't know if I did something wrong but my white sauce turned curdled.
