I would not make this recipe again. Cod is a pretty flavorless fish and this recipe did not add enough flavor. I threw out the leftovers, because no one in my house would agree to eat them.

This came out more like a soup, unlike the thicker chicken chili I have had. I ended up having to add a corn starch slurry, but next time I will add a couple of tblsp. of flour to the peppers/onion before adding the chicken stock. I only used half of the jalapeno, one and a half poblanos, and regular chili powder, because my guy is not a fan of spicy...

Fantastic recipe! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the cinnamon. I only used a dash of it, and my family instantly picked up on the flavor, and asked me to please not put cinnamon in their lasagna again. The cinnamon flavor was not pleasant, and I like cinnamon. It is far cheaper than my recipe for lasagna, and yet delicious. I did...

Fantastic! I used top sirloin steak instead of chicken, and it worked perfectly. I will definitely make this again. I also left out the red pepper flakes to keep it family friendly. "
