"Sorry Paula, the soup itself turned out with a good flavor but the dumplings were HORRIBLE and did NOT turn out like they were supposed to after I followed the recipe exactly. Next time I will use another dumpling recipe. The dumplings turned out so tough, really didn't like them at all. My husband, who is also from Georgia, was so shocked that this was one of YOUR recipes...I actually had to prove it to him on FN and in the cookbook I have of yours. I may try one of my dumpling recipes in it and up my rating later, but based on the recipe given...with these dumplings, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Aside from the dumplings the rest of it turned out wonderfully (and yes people she gives a recipe to make up her house seasoning with all that pepper, you only use a bit of it in the recipe itself.)
