My Activity

Reviewed Tomato-Peanut Soup

"A nice twist on tomato soup. The cayenne gives it just a touch of heat."

Reviewed Pantry Paella

"This was an easy weeknight dish. I didn't have seafood or peas, so I used cubed leftover ham and asparagus. I used bomba rice and a little extra stock. I had heard that bomba rice absorbs more liquid than arborio. Also didn't have a paella pan so used a heavy 12 inch skillet. I would try this one again."

Reviewed Chicken and Dropped Dumplings

"I used the dropped dumpling recipe with my own chicken & dumplings recipe. I used a stewing hen from a local farm, carrots, celery, parsley, poultry seasoning, and a little chicken stock. I was skeptical about the dumplings, but they were fantastic. Not like my usual dropped dumplings but very flavorful. I will definitely make them again. Thank yo"

Reviewed Bread Machine Easy Rye Bread

"An excellent recipe. I made the dough in the bread machine but baked the bread in the oven. After the dough cycle finished, I kneaded the dough and formed it into a round loaf. Then I baked it in a greased Pyrex pie plate at 350 degrees (convection setting) for 30 minutes. I got the idea for baking it in a pie plate from Bobby Flay's Swedish Limpa"
