"This is a great basic recipe that has made its way into my weekly routine! What I really love is switching up what cheeses and spices we put in- now I make a cajun-spiced mac and cheese using the techniques in Ina's recipe. I highly recommend giving this one a shot. (My favorite cheese combo has been sharp cheddar, smoked gouda, and Irish swiss.)"

"This worked out really well for me! I didn't have the right cookware to fry anything- I'm kind of new at this- but the batter came out a beautiful, golden color. The flavor was perfect, too. I highly recommend giving this a shot for all the new chefs out there!"
