Good flavor, but it is denser than you think it will be. in his book he describes it more as a quick bread (therefore muffin method) than a cake, and is therefore more dense. You can't carve this one into layers like he suggests in the book because it comes out too thin to slice without falling to pieces - but that may be because I'm an amateur. T"
