I am glad I read the reviews before I made these. Anything with 5 stars gets my attention. This truly is a great recipe, however snickerdooles traditionally have Cream of Tartar in them. I added 1 teaspoon of Cream of Tartar and 1 teasoon of vanilla. They came out awesome. Only 4 stars due to the fact that I had to modify the recipe."

Good, easy recipe, but plan on it taking a LONG time. Prep is much easier if you use the food strainer attachment to your kitchen aid stand mixer. No peeling or quartering, just wash, cut into quarters, boil until very soft and then put through the strainer. The strainer separates the skin, seeds, etc so you don't have to. I was done in 45 min"

Glad I read the reviews on this recipe. I cooked the bread in a bundt cake pan and it came out excellent. I added nutmeg for additional flavor. Other than under cooking or over cooking, it is difficult to screw up banana bread. This is a good recipe. I saved it to my recipe box.""

Like other cooks, I was biscuit impaired until now. These are AWESOME! Got some great tips from wading through all 16 pages of reviews prior to diving into making them. Was never a huge Paula fan until now. Thanks to everyone who posted suggestions with their reviews.""

Dec 1, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This took a long time to put together, but the end result was worth it. I used fully grown cow's tongues which take langer to cook so make sure you adjust your boil time according to what you have on hand or the stew meat will be chewy. As with most stews, the flavor is much better the second day, so I made this and let it sit overnight. At di...

Like many other cooks said previously, the most common size glass baking dish is a 8x8 not a 9x9. I think that is the reason there is a common thread in these reviews that 35 minutes cook time is too short. An 8x8 will require more time, but patience pays off...this recipe is AWESOME! Alton...I FINALLY bought a good kitchen scale as a lot of you...

GREAT recipe from Giada the hottie cook! I grilled the fish over applewood in my kamado. I simmered the glaze a little long and it came out very thick (my fault). I think the reason some people are complaining about the "vinegar fish" is they are not reducing the glaze enough. When reduced, the "vinegary" taste goes away. If you have extra glaze,...
