This dish was awesome. I mean, really awesome. Like, lick-your-plate awesome. When I saw it made on Food Network, I wasn't that into it, but then I saw Lidia Bastianich's version the next day, and took it as a sign! Nevertheless, I went with Anne's version (except I added more garlic, since Lidia did), and was very pleased....

I actually really ended up liking this recipe. I did change some things however, because when I made the dressing, it tasted grossly sweet to me. I added some capers and some red wine vinegar after the initial batch, which toned down the sweetness. It still was quite sweet, but in an interesting rather than, well, yucky way. I didn't have peas :(...
