Reviewed Apple Crumble with Cardamom-Vanilla Caramel Sauce
"I watched this 2 weeks ago...and couldn't get it out of my head. I made this yesterday as a surprise for my mom & she loved it! I used a mix of granny smith/golden delicious and Fuji Apples. Added a handful of dried berries mix for some addt'l tartness...and some other winter spices. I found the caramel sauce to be most challenging! and had to be watched intently for way more than 7 minutes... and stirring in the heavy cream/butter while it was sizzling...was slightly difficult for me..it clumped a little...but put back to simmer and it came together just fine. I also used GROUND Cardamom...and the flavour was wonderful. I can't wait to make this again for my friends - Great Recipe!!!! Try it!
