Reviewed Sweet Temptation Ribs: Tamarind-Glazed Spare Ribs

"I added a bit of honey into the glaze after reading other reviews, but otherwise made it exactly as written (hint - found CHEAP 6-pack of tamarind paste on Amazon). This was incredibly flavorful - it's a strong smoky cumin-y flavor, but I loved that paired with the sweet/sour glaze. They cooked perfectly in the oven - have never done ribs off the ""

Reviewed Warm Bacon Tarragon Potato Salad

"I normally don't like potato salad because I don't like mayo. This is a perfect alternative! It has great flavor, went really well with my brats and beer, and was so easy. Planning to make this for next tailgate too, since it'll last better outside without the mayo. Can't argue with one thing about this recipe - if you need more salt, add it. Ever""

Reviewed Potato-Bacon Torte

"Aside from the recipe being awesome, I've now used this crust recipe for an apple pie as well. Can I just say? BEST PIE EVER...and it was because of the perfectly buttery, flaky crust. And it is so easy to make! Thanks Melissa for the tips about keeping the butter cold, etc. to make it work so well. I've always loved to cook, now I'm excited about"

Reviewed Spicy Tangerine Beef

"I love LOVE this recipe. It could not be easier. I tend to add some veggies to the wok as well because my husband doesn't like separate/steamed veggies. He's like a kid. I think my favorite is to add some snap peas just to warm through and absorb some flavor, though I've also used a regular can of stir-fry veg. I also like to add edamame (frozen, already shelled) for extra protein. Served over rice (sometimes made with lite coconut milk)...this is one I make repeatedly, cause we never get tired of it and it's totally easy, even on a work night.

Reviewed Goan Beef Curry with Vinegar: Beef Vindaloo

"This was so good. The only thing I did differently was use a sweet onion instead of red, cause that's what I had. Such a great flavor, and so easy to put together. My whole Super Bowl party loved it. Yet another hit from Aarti. I've tried about 15 of her recipes so far...not a let down yet. And I'd never made Indian prior to her show.
